Murashige and Skoog (MS) Basal Medium Size:25 LMurashige and Skoog (MS) Basal Medium is the most popular culture medium in modern plant tissue culture research. It is a complex growth medium with all of the micronutrients and macronutrients needed for plants to thrive. MS Medium is effective on an endless list of plant species. Murashige and Skoog Basal Medium should be dissolved at 4. 33 g L of distilled water and autoclave. Cytokines, Auxins, Vitamins, and Sucrose may be added as needed.
